Kate qualified in 1996 with her degree in Physiotherapy. She worked for 2 seasons in the ski resort of Val d’Isere in France in the English Medical Centre assessing and treating skiing and snowboarding injuries. Kate achieved a distinction in her Physiotherapy Masters in Sports Injury and Therapy from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2003.

She works closely with the Orthopaedic Consultants at St George’s Hospital, London and at Frimley NHS Trust. She also works as an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist (APP) in Orthopaedic Spine Clinic assessing and managing spinal patients. She is currently training to perform spinal injections and is due to start her Independent Prescribing course.

When not working Kate enjoys running, skiing and trying to keep up with 2 young boys!

  • She is especially skilled at helping to bridge the gap between when a patient has recovered from surgery but not quite strong enough to get back to running and sports. They may have already had a lot of physiotherapy.
