Mr Adrian Fairbank MA FRCS qualified in 1986 after receiving an award to read medicine at Queens’ College Cambridge, and St Thomas’s Hospital London. He spent two years in Orthopaedic Fellowship, at Johns Hopkins University in USA, and Royal Adelaide Hospital in Australia. Appointed as a Consultant and Honorary Senior Lecturer to St Georges Hospital, London in 1997, he has spent time as Surgical Tutor, Lead Clinician (Knees), and was a member of the Research and Ethics Committee for three years. Currently working part time in the NHS at St Georges and the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre, his research interests currently lie in product development with a global Orthopaedic company. His sub specialist interests lie in ‘keyhole’ arthroscopic knee surgery, ligament reconstruction and total and partial knee replacement. Consulting in Parkside and Ashtead Hospitals, and Harley Street, he
is regularly asked to contribute in both national and international conferences. |
