Mr David Ward FRCS graduated from Westminster Hospital in 1985 and trained in orthopaedics in London and Berne, Switzerland. Mr Ward was appointed as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to Kingston Hospital/Queen Mary’s Hospital, Roehampton in 1995 and carries out a high volume of hip and knee replacement work – he is Clinical Director of the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre. With a specialist interest in hip replacement, hip resurfacing, minimally invasive hip replacement and hip revision surgery, he has particular expertise in surgical options for the active patient.

His research interests are in hip resurfacing and complex revision surgery – he contributes to national and international conferences on hip matters. Mr Ward is also Orthopaedic Consultant to the Roehampton Rehabilitation Unit and an international authority on amputation surgery.
